Rangnaarang
+ Brand Identity
+ Website Design
+ Art Direction
Rangnaarang is a sustainable textile brand based in Jaipur. Their work is a blend of art, design, and sustainable practices, transforming materials otherwise destined for waste into compositions that transcend any one medium.

The Rangnaarang logo is rooted in the brand’s conceptual foundation — a play on contrast, duality, and transformation. Inspired by the founders’ deep love for cats, the logo is built around them. The wild cats' mirrored postures draws from the meaning of the name itself, "color no color" the contrast between decay and rebirth, presence and absence, brightness and void.

"Pathar ke Phool" is a collection by Rangnaarang, which is an exploration of resilience and transformation of the organic forms of fungi and lichen. The humble organisms, which grow on stones and other barren surfaces, are used here as symbols of renewal—emerging quietly, often unnoticed, from places that seem inhospitable.

The photoshoot reimagines the garments as lichens sunbathing, growing onto the skin and the rocks.
