Patang is a platform for desi queers and allies. As someone who's queer myself, it was more than creating art. It seemed as though the illustrations were pouring out our experiences and stories. It was a whirlwind of creativity and inclusivity working on the project. I spent time developing these characters, each with a unique quirk that mirrors ours. They felt so real because of it. I wanted the pictures to radiate love and warmth, from small moments to those profound emotions.
